World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade allows players to boost an item upgrade's gear rating up 700 points, and then add a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For example the perfect roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't change much after an upgrade, and aren't worth it.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as the chance to crit, attack damage PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also come with a fixed bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a single unit. In certain instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades by itself.

A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrades to weapons can also change the stats of the base. While this is usually a good thing, it can have some negative effects as well. Upgrades can make items impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to boost their performance. For instance, if you have chests or helms, this will increase the defense of its base, while gloves and belts will improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor also offers the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it could roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats that it will gain after upgrading along with the values of these stats. This means that the weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However the 3% difference doesn't mean that it will hit for 3 times less often, since it is an absolute statistic.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button with circular arrows within the menu for items. This will reroll the item Upgrader Mod and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level nor tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make a huge difference in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets offer massive increases in poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making traversing tough areas a breeze. In general, the greater defense you have on your character, the greater health you'll gain from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To improve your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains in the game and to unlock each one you must complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. In general, you'll need at anywhere between three Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, as an example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you're able to survive a battle with your friends.

Note that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to work on upgrading it to gain physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of a Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still wear at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have some upgrades to your chest armor and helmets that allow you to stealth around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by the player, give an immediate effect. There are five different types of potions, each with specific effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to potion require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion and the item's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI that lets you select the potions that you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. You can upgrade items potions in batches of up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total XP you have.

Once a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you make use of it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change the name of the potion.

There were a few changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. For example splash potions now have an average duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display for the item level upgrade). The potion table can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be mixed in cauldrons. This is the same for using a potion within a cauldron that is full. This will deplete the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are made with dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone. The table of potions is arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as the potion of leaping and the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a reference to an object or decoration that serves a purpose, but is not particularly important such as a thimble. In some cultures, a trinket can be used to express friendship or affection between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. In contrast to other upgrades for items trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their status.

The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying a new one. You can upgrade a trinket with just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the old one, and will come with an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

Once the old Trinkets have become no longer useful, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players, making them an attractive alternative to gold.

In general players should make upgrades to their top-priority items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment they will not replace in the near future (such as a ring or an cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. For example If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should prioritize upgrading their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and helm.

Once they have become useless trinkets can be upgraded to a greater level. The upgraded trinket will give you an additional bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it can be saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still cheaper than buying an entirely new trinket.
