Nuna MIXX Next is a multi-purpose stroller which can do everything. It's easy to store, folds compactly and is able to glide smoothly over sidewalks, grass, and cobblestone. It's pricier than some of our other choices, but our product tester said it was well worth the cost as it's strong and able to be able to withstand the most difficult of trips.

For a lightweight stroller that can handle more rough terrain, consider three-wheelers. The Thule Shine is a great choice, and we've called it the previous winner in this category. It's more expensive than our other choices but it feels solid, and has a lot of features (car seat compatible! Dual cup holders! that makes it a worthy investment. Plus, it folds small enough to fit inside the overhead bins of airplanes making it an ideal option for families who frequently travel.

The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport Utility is the ideal stroller for parents who want to go off the beaten track and get some exercise. The jogging stroller has pneumatic knobby tires that are ideal for running trails and hand brakes that let you manage the downhills. It also features a state-of the-art suspension system with a two-step folding system and a huge cargo basket. If you purchase the right adapters you can pair it with a child car seat.

The biggest drawback to this jogging stroller is its weight and folded size. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inches, which is the average for this class of strollers. Its large footprint is not suitable for tight turns and narrow trunk spaces. It does however have small handles in the rear of the storage bin that can be pulled to fold the stroller into a compact flat position.

Despite its bulk, this stroller remains easy to navigate. The front wheel is equipped with an locking mechanism that lets you switch it between normal and locked jogging mode, and the handlebar has adjustable height settings to accommodate different heights of parents. It has a wide seat which can be reclined to almost flat, as well as a large window made of vinyl.

Another big plus is the Sport Utility's remarkable quality that has earned it a rating of 9 out of 10 in this metric. It has a thick aluminum frame with tight connections, and no rough edges or weak stitching. It also has adjustable dampers that help in the smooth rolling performance.

As with the other BOB strollers in this review, the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that allow you to use it with different infant car seats. In our tests, it took us about 5:24 hours to put together the stroller from unpacking it to being ready to run. The assembly was simple however you'll require a Philips screwdriver. The manual provided is well-organized and clear but it's good to have one in your case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

This jogger is designed with safety, style and convenience as its main priorities. It comes with an adult tray with 2 cup holders and covered storage, and the child tray which swings away and has two cup holders. The adjustable canopy that has a peek-a-boo window and the extra-wide ergonomically designed handle provide comfort for both parents. The lockable front wheel can be removed when strolling and locked for jogging. The large storage basket is perfect for storing the essential items you need to travel with.

Consumer Reports' Strollers test program confirms that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is an excellent value for the cost and is better than many of its competitors across several categories. The 5-point harness that folds, unfolds, adjusting backrest, braking the wheel and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It has a simple design with a one-handed recline that's deep enough for napping. However the canopy cover, which ratchets, isn't always easy to keep in place. It takes about 8 minutes to put it up, and the instructions are confusing, with several languages mashed together and hard-to-understand illustrations.

The only downside to this jogger is that it does not have suspension, so the ride may be bumpier than some of the other all-terrain strollers we've tested. This might make it more uncomfortable for toddlers, especially if they are on the edge of taking having a nap. The air-filled wheels are nice, but don't offer the same amount of cushioning as rubber tires found on higher-end strollers.

This is a great choice for those who don't run often, but still need to be able to move easily over grass or gravel without having to worry about obstacles like curbs or other obstructions. It's also a great choice for families with limited space as it folds into an extremely compact size. It is lighter than many of the other strollers we have tested and can be tucked away in places that full-size strollers cannot.

Another advantage is that it's easier to carry and lift than the heavier joggers we've tried. This is particularly crucial if you need to lift it in and out of the trunk of your car on a regular basis or if you're constantly traveling.

The Nipper is lightweight and compact making it easy to transport and fold.

This pushchair is equipped with an adjustable handlebar and front suspension, making it perfect for all types of terrain. It also has a multi-position recline seat and removable quilted seat liner along with a five-point safety harness and a hinged bumper bar. It's also compatible with travel systems, allowing you to use it with the Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, or Be-Safe infant car seats.

The buggy terrain also has an enormous front wheel that ensures an easy ride for the child. This is especially important when tackling difficult terrain, as it allows the buggy to better track and glide more easily over dips and bumps. Nipper Sport is easy to drive and has one pedal brake. The handlebar is ergonomically designed, and comes with an easy-lock brake with a single pedal and adjustable steering. The buggy folds up very effortlessly, thanks to clear instructions and illustrations in the user guide.

The Nipper Sport is suitable for children from the age of six months, and can be used by a newborn due to its built-in infant insert. It is not recommended to use it with infants younger than six months because the harness isn't tight enough to secure them securely.

Another problem with this pushchair is the lack of a storage bin underneath the seat. The small shopping bag that is located at the rear of the seat isn't big enough to accommodate a large changing bag. It is, however, extremely easy to open and close, using only two hands needed to release the plastic catches on either side of the lower frame. There is a third lock catch on the handlebar in red that can be loosened with just one hand, making it incredibly easy to use.
